WeAreBrain drives new tonies launch campaign in the EU

WeAreBrain has powered the latest EU launch campaign for leading children’s digital media and entertainment brand, tonies. Our team assisted with marketing and creative consultancy to help extend the tonies brand’s reach into the Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg), as well as Spain and Portugal.

What was the challenge?
tonies wanted to market their new EU webshop to a wider audience to work towards their goal to create a truly global brand. They needed assistance to develop and execute an engaging EU launch campaign to penetrate the Benelux market, together with Spain and Portugal.

About the client
tonies is a leading international children’s digital media and entertainment business and is the company behind the award-winning screen-free tonies® children audio entertainment system for children ages 3 years and up. The revolutionary system consists of the Toniebox player and audio figurines – called Tonies – which when paired with the Toniebox start playing audio content. Currently, over 300 Tonies figurines are available worldwide, ranging from audio books to music, from knowledge to entertainment (incl. worldwide top licenses such as Frozen, Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol) as well as a digital audio library with additional content. They offer kids a storytelling experience in a digital age in a way that stimulates their imagination. The fast-growing company was founded by Patric Faßbender and Marcus Stahl in 2013. Since launching the product in late 2016, tonies has sold more than 2.4 million Tonieboxes and over 25 million Tonies. It is present in 12 countries with further internationalization plans.
