Daniël Smidt

Daniël has a background in arts and technology. Professionally​ he focuses on web related technologies and digital transformation. As CTO and Solutions Architect he loves to inspire and innovate with his Synetic colleagues and clients. As public speaker and writer he likes to share his knowledge and passion in several communities.

He contributes to Open Source projects such as Lando, Composer and holds the position of Drupal Core subsystem maintainer.

During his MSc building technology he specialised in Design Informatics. He loves architecture, both in the building industry and IT. Beauty and Functionality go hand in hand.

His work-experience is broad, it reaches from volunteering in worldwide non-profit organisations, working for agencies, enterprise clients, education and running his own company. He’s experienced in Programming, IT Architecture, DevOps, Customer Relations, Innovation, GDPR, ISO's and (team/tech) leadership and coaching.
