IFA International Keynotes 2013: the programme line-up of global CEOs has been announced

Berlin, 23 August 2013 –  The IFA International Keynotes provide an exclusive insight into the strategies and visions of global enterprises. This is where audiences can gain a live experience of creative minds and decision-makers. Once again the interest of media and trade visitors from all over the world is focusing on the visions of the industry’s leading executives.

 

On Friday, 6 September, at 10.15 a.m., Pieter Nota, president of Philips Consumer Lifestyle will deliver the opening keynote speech “Innovations that matter to you” and highlight the challenges posed by intelligent technological solutions and how they influence Philips’ long-term corporate strategy. His keynote will describe strategic decision-making and show how the company has anticipated the often very rapid developments within the market.

 

Sprint Corporation is an industry-leading mobile services provider in the USA. In his keynote, Dan Hesse, CEO of Sprint will speak about the impact of a society that is “always on.” On Friday, 6 September at 1 p.m., under the heading of “From Transformative to Revolutionary: The Impact of Wireless on Our World,” his keynote will address the profound impact wireless has on societies across the world and the possibilities wireless brings to the future.

 

Ford Motor Company president and CEO Alan Mulally will hold his IFA keynote on 6 September at 5 p.m.. Mulally uses IFA as the platform to introduce a new concept vehicle and show how new technologies can make driving safer and easier in the future.

 

In his keynote on Saturday, 7 September at 10.30 a.m., Dr. Turan Erdogan, CEO of Vestel, will be asking “Will TV die? The future of consumer electronics“ and describe the latest challenges in the TV industry and the future of consumer electronics.

 

On Saturday, 7 September at 3 p.m., Colin Angle, co-founder and managing director of iRobot will talk about “The Evolution of Robots in the Home and Beyond“. Angle will provide an insight into the world of household robots and illustrate how in the future they will be part of our everyday lives.

 

On Sunday, 8 September at 3 p.m., Noel Lee, founder and CEO of Monster will present a keynote on “The Headphone Revolution; How Did It Happen?“. As the developer of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones he will analyse the recent positive developments in the headphone market and whether this trend is set to continue.
