Omzet Belgische gamesector 708 miljoen euro
De economische waarde van de Belgische gamesector is vorig jaar met 21,8 procent gestegen tot 708 miljoen euro. Dat meldt de Video Games Federation Belgium (VGFB).
De forse stijging is grotendeels toe te schrijven aan de explosieve verkoop van PlayStation 5-consoles. Vorig jaar was de PlayStation 5 de meest verkochte gameconsole.
Naast spelconsoles zijn de verkopen van games, abonnementen en hardwareaccessoires meegerekend (pdf).
