Aerohive breidt aanbod SD-LAN uit met nieuw access point: AP122X

Amstelveen, 27 oktober 2017 — Aerohive Networks® (NYSE: HIVE), de onafhankelijke leverancier van zakelijke netwerkoplossingen, kondigt de introductie aan van de AP122X. Deze access point is een toevoeging aan het groeiende aanbod van Software Defined LAN (SD-LAN)-oplossingen voor cloud beheerde toegangsnetwerken.

De nieuwe access point is een variant van de AP122, met een externe antenne. Dit brengt verbeterde dekking en netwerkprestaties naar veeleisende draadloze omgevingen. Zowel de AP122 als AP122X bieden 2×2 MIMO, dual-radio 802.11ac en ondersteuning voor IoT en location-based services dankzij ingebouwde BLE- en USB-technologie. De AP122X biedt organisaties de mogelijkheid om draadloze netwerken in te richten in atypische RF-omgevingen.

De AP122X is vanaf december verkrijgbaar voor een prijs van $299. Dit is inclusief een permanente licentie voor beheer vanuit de cloud met Aerohive Connect™. Deze oplossing biedt organisaties toegang tot implementatie- en beheertools die het netwerkbeheer vereenvoudigen, het mogelijk maken om de reikwijdte van het netwerk te vergroten en om moeiteloos te upgraden naar het functierijke Aerohive Select™ in aansluiting op de veranderende netwerkbehoeften. Aerohive Select is een uitbreiding van Aerohive Connect die overzicht op en beheer van applicaties biedt in combinatie met verbeterde beveiliging, geavanceerde tools voor probleemoplossing, verbeterde ondersteuningsdiensten en de mogelijkheid om de beheeroplossing HiveManager® op locatie of in een private cloud te gebruiken.

Prijzen en beschikbaarheid 

• De Aerohive AP122X is vanaf december 2017 verkrijgbaar voor de catalogusprijs van $299.
• De Aerohive AP122 is per direct verkrijgbaar voor de catalogusprijs vanaf $229.
